Design/Purpose:   "Having surpassed its initial task of data acquisition where it was primarily involved in negotiations with data suppliers, T RACTOR offers more than 2 gigabytes of resources (estimated to yield well over 100 million words) which have been acquired so far, including monolingual and multilingual data (aligned, non-aligned, translated, and parallel) in over 20 languages. Much of the data is of recent vintage, but there is a good range of historical material as well. "
